Posted on 10/05/2021
HCPS LogoFall referrals for evaluation for Hanover County Public Schools Gifted Education will be accepted between now and October 15. Elementary referrals will occur in January.

In order for a student to be considered for the Gifted Program, they must first be referred for evaluation. A referral can be initiated by:

- a parent
- a teacher
- a peer
- a community member
- by the student

To refer your middle school student (6-8), please send an email to your middle school gifted resource teacher to begin the referral process. Online families, please contact your home school gifted resource teacher.
