Patrick Henry High School has once again been named one of the best schools in Virginia for students and families connected to our country’s military.

Continuing our focus on kindness, we are launching a social media campaign to celebrate the students and staff who inspire us all by putting kindness into action through their words and actions.

Earlier this year, our valued partners with the CSB began a new, free program in which Hanover County residents 18 years and older can receive naloxone – a drug used to counter or temporarily reverse the effects of an opioid-related overdose – via mail at no charge.

The Community Foundation is now accepting nominations for the 2025-26 R.E.B. Awards for Distinguished Educational Leadership, which will result in a $30,000 grant for a Hanover County Public Schools principal.

This year’s Education Expo will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 21 Patrick Henry High School.

Beaverdam Elementary School (BES), Chickahominy Middle School (CMS), and Elmont Elementary School (EES) have been named as 2024-2026 National PTA Schools of Excellence.
