Hanover County Public Schools is consolidating student meal service to three days per week—Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays—beginning Monday, April 13 at all five locations to help limit in-person contacts. Staff will prepare and serve additional meals to provide students with nutrition seven days a week. Children do not need to be present to receive meals.
Grab-and-go breakfasts and lunches will be served curbside on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., to all children 18 years of age or younger on a first-come, first-served basis.
On Mondays and Wednesdays, staff will serve twice the number of meals to ensure students have nutrition on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Fridays, staff will serve triple the number of meals to ensure students have nutrition on Saturdays and Sundays.
