Dear Families, Faculty, and Staff,

We hope you are well. We are writing to update you on the boundary adjustment process.

At last night’s School Board meeting, the Hanover County School Board received an update on the boundary adjustment process. Specifically, the Board reviewed the timeline of what has been done to-date and what the next steps will be in this important process. The document the Board reviewed can be found on BoardDocs. The recording of the meeting can be found on YouTube (a statement from Mr. Bob May, School Board Chairman, begins here, and the boundary adjustment agenda item begins here).

As you will note, the School Board is scheduled to hold two work sessions to meet with MGT, the third-party vendor leading this process, over the next week to refine the presented scenarios and consider other recommendations.

The work sessions are scheduled to be held as follows:

- Thursday, February 20 at 1 p.m. at the Hanover County Public Schools Central Office - John M. Gandy Building (200 Berkley Street in Ashland)
- Tuesday, February 25 at 1 p.m. at the Hanover County Public Schools Central Office - John M. Gandy Building (200 Berkley Street in Ashland)

Please note that the input collected through the community engagement process will be presented to the Board at the February 20 work session. As always, we will continue to keep you updated and will share this valued input with you.

We continue to encourage you to visit the boundary adjustment webpage for more information on this process.

Thank you.
