HCPS LogoDear Families,

As we approach the end of the 2022-23 school year, I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude and admiration for each and every member of our incredibly strong community. While it is hard to believe that another school year is coming to an end, I am thankful for your trust and support, which have greatly contributed to making this a truly remarkable school year for our community.

On the eve of the first day of school, I shared with you the following: “Whether it is contributing input to our Comprehensive Plan, volunteering at one of our schools, or simply attending one of the hundreds of events held on our campuses, we invite you to partner with us this year. We are a reflection of our wonderful community, and together we remain Hanover Strong!”

I am proud to say that on this, the eve of the last day of school, you truly answered the call and we remain Hanover Strong. This school year has been filled with joy, excitement, and a return to normalcy after three school years like no other. It has been delightful to see the return of so many hallmark events in our schools and community, and I am deeply grateful for your partnership in making this school year a success. We do not take your support for granted.

I would be remiss to not also extend a significant thank you to our hardworking team of faculty and staff. As you know and as your children experience daily, they pour into our students to provide a top quality education. Please join me in thanking them for their passion, devotion, and talent. We are thankful for everything they do!

As we enter summer break, I hope you and your family have a safe, joyful, and restful summer. Before we bid farewell tomorrow, again, thank you for your support. Have a great summer!

With gratitude,

Dr. Michael Gill
