Hanover County Public Schools Superintendent Search
The Hanover County School Board is in the process of searching for the next Superintendent of Schools for Hanover County Public Schools. The School Board is utilizing a third-party vendor, Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates (HYA), to assist the Board throughout the selection process, a common practice for superintendent searches across the country.
The School Board is committed to conducting a transparent search process, including opportunities for community engagement. More information on these opportunities to provide input is listed below.
Applications for the position will close in February. Interviews are scheduled to take place in March ahead of the Board’s anticipated vote on the new Superintendent of Schools in April 2025.
