High School Courses

students in science labThere is a fifteen (15) student minimum for each academic course. If the minimum is not met, students will be notified around June 19, 2019 and a full tuition refund will be made.

Schedule

  • June 24-July 16: First Semester
    • June 24: 7:30 a.m. face-to-face orientation; classes to follow
    • June 24: 5:30-7:30 p.m. Online/Blended Learning orientation meeting (mandatory) at Atlee High School
    • July 4: No school (holiday)
  • July 17-August 7: Second Semester
    • SOL Review Session: Date to be scheduled by teacher
    • August 5-6: SOL Testing
    • August 7: Final Exams
    • August 8: 5:30 p.m. Graduation

 English for Speakers of Other Languages - ESOL:

The ESOL enrichment class is especially designed for English learner (EL) students in grades 6-12 where English may be a second language. The primary goal of ESOL is to help students understand, read, write, and speak English in order to communicate in social settings, to achieve academically in all subject areas, and to behave in socially and culturally appropriate ways. In order to realize these goals, EL students require meaningful language practice. Consistent reinforcement of English skills is instrumental in helping students become proficient in their new language.
